Autumn is my favorite time of year.
I wanted to draw a girl who would embody my idea of the feeling of Autumn. Cool, crispy dark blues against a fiery orange backdrop. Back to school. Chunky black merino sweaters...And the aroma of a pumpkin spice latte!

Starbucks influences just about everything in my world. ;)

It's no accident that she's got a hint of Anne-Marie to her, too.
I also wanted Robert Smith to lurk around in there somewhere.

I just scanned a pencil sketch in and started coloring it in Photoshop. I guess that makes it multi-media enough...Or what, was I supposed to stick scraps of felt or pigeon turds to it to qualify? XD

She's super cute, love the details of the coffee in her hand & the leaf in her hair. Nice shapes as usual too-really like the pointy shapes for her hair especially :)
